Misfortune Cookie

For some reason I have like a half dozen fortune cookie fortunes laying around my place.  Even if it’s a boring fortune like “Good friends are life’s greatest treasure” I can’t throw it away.  I think I have a hoarding fetish for fortunes.  In the sense that if I throw one away, I believe the fortune cookie gods will become angry and rain down bad fortune upon me.  I’ve started taking the excessive measure of attaching them to my refrigerator with magnets for safe keeping.  So now my fridge looks like a ticker tape machine vis a vis Wall Street from the 1930’s.  Weird.
